Launch Bay Capacity

The Launch Bay Tier determines the maximum number of Fighter units that may be embarked.

Launch Bay Tier Embarked Fighter Units: Tier 1 — 1, Tier 2 — 2, Tier 3 — 3.

Launch Bays deploy Fighters; they do not regenerate them. A normal Launch Bay cannot restore destroyed Fighter bases — Fighter restoration is a Carrier-specific capability.

Unless otherwise stated, Launch Bays support Fighter units. Special rules may allow Bombers or other squadron types. Embarked units:

▪Are not on the battlefield.

▪Cannot be targeted.

▪Cannot contest objectives.

▪Do not contribute Tonnage.

▪Do not count for Initiative.

Embarked units remain aboard the Launch Bay ship until launched.
