Terrain Navigation
Section 446 of 608
Part VII — Special Rules
Terrain Navigation When a unit moves through certain terrain features, it must make a Leadership (LD) Test. The terrain's LD Difficulty represents how difficult it is to safely navigate. Failure may result in damage, loss of movement, or other effects. Navigation Test When a unit enters or moves through terrain requiring a Navigation Test:
1. Complete the movement.
2. Roll the unit's LD.
3. Count successes normally.
4. Compare the result to the terrain's LD Difficulty.
If the number of successes equals or exceeds the Difficulty:
▪The unit passes safely.
If the unit fails:
▪Apply the terrain's effects.
