Part IV — Playing a Round · Movement System
When using Combined Movement: If a unit's movement path crosses an obstacle, the unit may move completely across the obstacle provided its final position is legal and not overlapping terrain or another base. The unit is considered to have moved continuously through the obstacle rather than stopping on it. Rules Text Combined Movement A unit with a Movement characteristic shown as A/B may combine both values into a single movement. Add the two values together and move the unit along a continuous path using the appropriate movement sticks. The unit may stop at any point along that path. Combined Movement is primarily used to cross or clear terrain features and obstacles that would otherwise cause the unit's base to overlap terrain during movement. A unit using Combined Movement is still considered to have spent both movement values for that activation. Example
▪M 9/6 = up to 15" Combined Movement
▪M 6/6 = up to 12" Combined Movement
▪M 9/9 = up to 18" Combined Movement
▪M 6/3 = up to 9" Combined Movement
