Movement & Movement Sticks
All movement is measured with 3", 6", 9" and 12" sticks.
The Rule
Place the chosen movement stick against the front edge of the base, move the base along the stick, and stop anywhere along it. A full move ends with the rear edge of the base touching the far end of the stick.
Explanation
Units with an A/B movement value may combine both values into one continuous movement path. Combined Movement is primarily used to move over obstacles, clear terrain, and prevent bases ending movement on terrain.
Example
Combined Movement totals: 9/6 = 15", 6/6 = 12", 9/9 = 18", 6/3 = 9".
Frequently Asked Questions
Must I move the full stick?
No. A unit may stop anywhere along the stick.
Is Combined Movement two moves?

Designer Commentary
Sticks remove tape measures from the manoeuvre phase entirely — the table stays fast.
