Precision Strike (Universal Bomber Rule)
Every Bomber has Precision Strike for free — it never consumes the Bomber's faction ability slot.
The Rule
Precision Strike: each surviving Bomber base contributes 1 Attack with its torpedo weapon. When targeting a unit whose bases are 50mm or larger, the torpedoes gain +1 Attack per remaining Bomber base. Bomber torpedoes have a maximum range of 6".
Explanation
Precision Strike is printed on every Bomber at no cost and leaves the single faction ability slot free for identity. Bombers also follow Squad Leader and Cohesion, and can never control objectives.
Example
A full three-base squadron makes 3 attacks normally, or 6 attacks against 50mm+ bases; at 2 bases it is 2/4, at 1 base 1/2.
Frequently Asked Questions

Designer Commentary
Bombers punch up: they are weak against small craft but devastating against capital hulls, mirroring Dogfighters on the Fighter side.
