Objectives & Control
Tonnage within 3" decides control at the end of each round.
The Rule
To contest an objective a unit must have LD and Tonnage. Fighters and Bombers may never claim objectives. At the end of each round, identify eligible units within 3" of the objective, add their Tonnage values, and the highest total controls it.
Explanation
Objectives must be placed more than 12" from another objective and more than 6" from a table edge. Recommended counts: 500 points — 3 objectives; 1000 points — 5–8; 2000 points — 8–12.
Example
Two Cruisers of Tonnage 5 each within 3" of an objective total 10 Tonnage and hold it against a Tonnage 8 Battleship.
